Find CPR & AED Training

This page connects you to hands-on CPR and AED training — locally through Brandon Rescue, or anywhere through the American Heart Association's official course search.

Build real skills with hands-on CPR training

This website can help you review general CPR and AED concepts, but it cannot evaluate hand placement, compression depth, compression rate, recoil, rescue breaths, AED operation, or your ability to respond under pressure. It does not replace high-quality, hands-on CPR and AED training from a qualified instructor.

Brandon Rescue does not select, supervise, warrant, or endorse training providers found through an external directory. Confirm with your employer, licensing agency, school, or other organization which course and credential you need before registering.

Confirm what you need first

Before you register for a course, confirm with your employer, licensing agency, school, or other requesting organization exactly which course type and credential they require. Requirements vary by employer and by state, and Brandon Rescue cannot tell you which one applies to your situation.

Common types of CPR/AED training

Course names and requirements vary by provider. This is a general orientation only — for exact course content, prerequisites, and what a given course qualifies you for, check with the training provider directly.

  • General community CPR/AED education — introductory, public-facing instruction in Hands-Only CPR and AED basics. Often does not issue a formal completion card.
  • CPR/AED course with a completion card — hands-on instruction that ends in a dated card or certificate, commonly requested by employers, volunteer organizations, and licensing bodies.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) for healthcare professionals — a more detailed course intended for people working in a clinical or healthcare setting, often required for medical licensure or employment.
